We owe you 42 cents!
It seems as if our quality control crew overlooked some unstamped RSVP cards that were inserted into the invitations. If you received one of those, we apologize! Please put your own stamp on it and we'll refund you the 42 cents at the wedding- or give you an extra slice of cake!
What is the dress code for the wedding?
There is no official dress code, but "Garden Party" would describe it best. There will be gravel and grass, so choose your footwear accordingly, ladies!
What's for dinner?
If choosing a cow, fish or mushroom doesn't narrow it down enough for you, the entrees are as follows:
Grilled Salmon with Red Pepper & Fennel Relish
OR
Braised Short Ribs with Merlot & Sage Demi Glace
There is also a vegetarian option for those who wish to order it.
Are there any additional activities for out of town guests?
Why, yes, indeed! Since you've been so kind to travel to Philadelphia for us, we'd love to see you as much as possible:
Saturday, Oct. 11th: Evening cocktails and desserts will be held at Supper in downtown Philadelphia, beginning at 9:00 p.m until 11 p.m. We'd love you to join us for a nightcap (cash bar, sorry!) and/or dessert. We'll be upstairs, so come join us!
Sunday, Oct. 12: We don't want the party to end, and hope you don't either, but in deference to the neighbors of Appleford, the wedding will be officially over at 9 p.m. However, we will continue the party back at the bar at the Radnor Hotel until closing time, and hope you'll join us!
Monday, Oct. 13: Out-of-town guests are invited to a brunch/open house at the Blake/Wegener home on Monday from 10:00am on. Please factor this into your travel plans for Monday, and stop by before you leave town! Directions from the Radnor hotel to our house can be found by clicking here.
How should I plan to get from the hotel to Appleford?
We will provide transportation from the Radnor hotel to Appleford, starting at 2pm. This will also be available at the end of the wedding, returning back to the Radnor. If you would rather drive yourself, on site parking is available.
Did you have an engagement photo session?
